Lewin Diaz: Cut by Nats

The Nationals released Diaz on Tuesday.

The Nationals sent Diaz to minor-league camp earlier this spring, but the 27-year-old will now look for another opportunity elsewhere in free agency. He slashed .192/.222/.385 across 27 plate appearances during spring training and should be able to secure another minor-league deal.
