Marlins' Chi Chi Gonzalez: Sent outright to Triple-A

Miami sent Gonzalez outright to Triple-A Jacksonville on Sunday.

Gonzalez was designated for assignment by the Marlins on Friday and went unclaimed. The right-hander will provide organizational depth in Triple-A, but he'll need to be added to the 40-man roster in order to receive a promotion to Miami during the 2023 campaign.
