Marlins' Nick Neidert: Off 40-man roster

Neidert (knee) was designated for assignment by the Marlins on Tuesday.

Neidert appeared in five games for Miami in 2022 and spent most of the year at Triple-A Jacksonville, where he had a 1.96 ERA over 46 innings. He underwent surgery on his right knee in September, and it's unclear when he's expected to be fully recovered from the procedure.
