Mets' Patrick Mazeika: Moved to alternate camp

Mazeika was optioned to New York's alternate camp site Wednesday, Tim Britton of The Athletic reports.

Mazeika failed to make an appearance during his brief time with the Mets. With Mazeika at the team's satellite camp and Tomas Nido (illness) on the shelf, Ali Sanchez will serve as Wilson Ramos' backup for the time being.
