Nationals' Sam Freeman: Lands on IL

Freeman (elbow) was placed on the 10-day injured list Thursday with a left flexor mass strain, Jessica Camerato of MLB.com reports.

Will Harris was activated from the IL in a corresponding move. Freeman reportedly felt a "pop" in his elbow during Wednesday's outing and is set to undergo an MRI on Friday to determine the severity of the injury. The 33-year-old southpaw has yet to give up a run this season, but Freeman's 6:7 K:BB through five innings suggests he's been more lucky than good.
