Nick Goody: Let go by Yankees

Goody was released by the Yankees on Sunday, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

The right-hander signed a minor-league deal with the Yankees in February but never received a big-league opportunity. Goody pitched well at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre with a 2.86 ERA, 0.86 WHIP and 31:7 K:BB across 22 innings.
