Kemp is hitting .318 (7-for-22) with a home run in nine games this spring.
Kemp ended last season with a strained and partially torn tendon in his right middle finger, but he looks fully healthy this spring. Kemp had a brutal first half last year, hitting .250/.291/.382 before the All-Star break. However, a .286/.339/.528 line in the second half with 15 of his 23 home runs could point to an improvement this season.
