Miller is starting Thursday's game against the Diamondbacks.
The 31-year-old took on a bench role across the last few games with Rhys Hoskins (groin) back in action, but Miller is in line to serve as the primary first baseman once again with Hoskins poised to miss the rest of the season due to abdominal surgery. Miller has gone 3-for-9 with two doubles, two RBI and a run across his last five appearances.
