Pirates' Hoy Park: Contract selected by Pirates

Park's contract was selected by the Pirates on Saturday, Alex Stumpf of DKPittsburghSports.com reports.

Park appeared in three games at Triple-A Indianapolis after he was traded from the Yankees to the Pirates on Monday, and he'll now join the major-league club ahead of Saturday's game against the Phillies. The 25-year-old has slashed .304/.455/.530 with 10 homers, 45 runs, 29 RBI and eight stolen bases at the Triple-A level this year.
