Rays' Hector Perez: Outrighted off 40-man roster

The Rays outrighted Perez to Triple-A Durham on Tuesday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

He lost his spot on the 40-man roster over the weekend but will remain in the organization as relief depth. Perez didn't make an appearance during his brief time with the big club.
