Rays' Luke Bard: Returns to big leagues

Tampa Bay recalled Bard from Triple-A Durham on Monday, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.

He'll join the Rays bullpen as a replacement for Phoenix Sanders, who was optioned to Triple-A after he was roughed up for three earned runs across 1.2 innings in relief during Sunday's loss to the Reds. Expect Bard to see most his usage in lower-leverage spots for the duration of his stay in the big leagues.
