Bard cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Saturday.
Bard was cast off the Yankees' 40-man roster Wednesday but will remain in the organization with the Triple-A club. Over 24 appearances (one start) at the Triple-A level this year, he's posted a 4.78 ERA and 1.13 WHIP in 32 innings.
