Red Sox's Jaylin Davis: Optioned to Triple-A

Davis was optioned to Triple-A Worcester following Sunday's win over the Yankees.

Davis will return to Worcester after he batted .300 with a double, two RBI and four runs over 20 at-bats in nine games since getting called up July 23. The move clears a roster spot for Enrique Hernandez (hip), who is expected to return from the 60-day injured list Tuesday.
