Red Sox's Jaylin Davis: Stays in organization

The Red Sox outrighted Davis to Triple-A Worcester on Wednesday, Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican reports.

Davis will remain in the organization after he went unclaimed off waivers when Boston designated him for assignment over the weekend. Before he lost his spot on the 40-man roster and 26-man active roster, Davis appeared in two games for the Red Sox, going 2-for-4 with two strikeouts.
