Red Sox's Jaylin Davis: Summoned to majors

Davis' contract was selected from Triple-A Worcester on Saturday, Bill Koch of The Providence Journal reports.

With Rafael Devers (hamstring) moving to the injured list, the Red Sox summoned some position player depth in the form of Davis. The righty-hitting outfielder probably won't play much while up with the big club. He hit .236/.335/.382 in 56 games at Triple-A.
