Rockies' Kris Bryant: Available off bench

Rockies manager Bud Black said Bryant (illness) is feeling better and will be available off the Rockies' bench Friday against Minnesota, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.

Black added that Bryant will return to the starting lineup for Colorado's penultimate game Saturday. The former NL MVP is slashing just .180/.212/.360 across 52 plate appearances since returning from the injured list Sept. 11.
