Royals' Braden Shipley: Added to 60-man pool

Shipley will be a part of the Royals' 60-man player pool this season, Enrique Rojas of ESPN Deportes reports.

Shipley was in camp on a minor-league deal prior to the shutdown. He was once a top prospect in the Diamondbacks' system, but he has been languishing with earned run averages north of 5.00 at Triple-A over the last few seasons.
