Chapman (shoulder) threw from 100 feet on flat ground Thursday, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
Chapman only made 15 throws Thursday, but was able to work his way up to 100-foot tosses. As long as Chapman continues making such progress, the Yankees are aiming to have him begin working in the bullpen next week. Once the hard-throwing southpaw begins participating in bullpen sessions, a timeframe for his return should become clear.
