Frazier, who struggled with vertigo-related issues for most of last season, was designated for assignment by the Yankees on Friday.
This is quite a fall from grace for Frazier, who had a 149 wRC+ in 160 plate appearances in 2020 and then hit .186/.317/.317 in 66 games last season. Given his raw talent, a rebuilding club will likely take a chance on Frazier now that he is on waivers.
