Young (COVID-19) will not be cleared in time for Monday's game against the Bulls, Chris Vivlamore of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Young was placed in the league's health and safety protocols Dec. 19 and will remain out through Monday's game against the Bulls. The team is now up to 10 players in the NBA's COVID-19 protocols since Young entered. The NBA could consider postponing Monday's contest, as the Hawks are getting dangerously close to not being able to roster the league-minimum players needed for a game. If the two teams do indeed still play Monday, Delon Wright would figure to be in line for a fourth straight start.
