Yurtseven started the second half of Thursday's contest against the Pistons in place of Dewayne Dedmon (knee), Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Dedmon suffered a knee injury and was quickly ruled out for the remainder of the contest, which opened the door for Yurtseven to start the second half. The undrafted rookie is averaging 3.5 points and 3.4 rebounds across 8.9 minutes per game, but he is expected to have a larger role for the remainder of Thursday's contest.
