Hornets' Mason Plumlee: Free-throw struggles continue

Plumlee recorded five points (2-4 FG, 1-7 FT), seven rebounds and three assists in 19 minutes during Sunday's 127-126 overtime loss to the Pistons.

Plumlee's abysmal 26 percent conversion rate from the charity stripe has turned into a serious handicap for the Hornets, and his 1-for-7 performance in Sunday's loss sent his percentage even lower. Although Plumlee is an effective rebounder, the points he leaves on the table at the free-throw line could have been the difference in several of Charlotte's narrow losses.
