Here at CBSSports.com, we got tired of talking trash to each other about our Fantasy Basketball expertise, so we decided to take it outside the building. Really far outside.

With the help of RotoWorld.com's Brian Flood (who you may remember from his days at CBS SportsLine), we've started an annual NBA Fantasy "Super League" that will consist of 30 teams, in other words, as many teams as there are in the NBA.

The twist is that 15 of those teams will be made up of the usual CBSSports.com representatives -- our Fantasy writers, editors, columnists and Fantasy product specialists -- against 15 teams made up of hoops heads from around the industry.

It's CBSSports.com against "The World". At least that's what we're calling it.

With representatives from practically every corner of the Fantasy hoops realm, we feel we've got a very good mix of the most informed Fantasy hoopsters out there.

The draft was purposely set to alternate between a World team and a CBS Sports team, with the order randomly picked. How random? I'll be picking 24.

Here is our draft order:

We're going to be using one of the newest features on CBS Sports.com, allowing users to start players at each of the five standard NBA positions. Five starters on each team will consist of a center, a power forward, a small forward, a shooting guard and a point guard -- your basic basketball lineup. Our draft will go 10 rounds, but each roster will be 12 players deep. The final two roster spots will be filled via waivers after the draft is over.

With even towel-waving bench warmers getting picked in this league, we may need Michael Jordan to make a third comeback. He's worth a late-round flier, right?

The league will be played in a head-to-head format, with the most commonly used scoring system in CBS Sports.com leagues:

2 pts. for each assist
1 pt. for each block
1 pt. for each point scored
1 pt. for each steal 1 pt. for each rebound
-1 pt. for each turnover

Teams will play two games each week, one against a team in their own conference and one outside of it. Because there are an uneven number of teams (15) in each conference, a different team will get half of a bye week every week.

During the season, you'll be able to follow this league, including all of the transactions made by each GM, and can use this as another tool to help make decisions for your own league.

We want to thank all of the participants in advance. Hopefully, this will be the start of something we can do for years.

Now quick, someone go tell Charles Barkley to get loose. He looks like he could still play and I might have to draft him.
