Wallace finished with five points (2-6 FG, 1-2 3PT), six rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block in 22 minutes during Thursday's preseason win over the Hawks.
Wallace moved into the starting lineup after it was earlier announced that Isaiah Hartenstein would miss up to six weeks due to a hand fracture. Wallace was able to chip in across the board, something we should expect to see on a regular basis, especially with Hartenstein sidelined. Jalen Williams also suffered an ankle injury in the win, meaning Wallace's role could be even larger to begin the season.
