Thunder's Jalen Williams: Fourth-year option exercised

Williams (ankle) had his 2025-26 team option exercised by Oklahoma City on Wednesday.

Williams will be due for an extension after the 2025-26 season, but two full campaigns on his current rookie-scale contract are forthcoming. The standout forward remains questionable for Thursday's regular-season opener versus Denver due to a left ankle sprain, but he has been practicing and is considered day-to-day.
