Curry will be re-evaluated in two weeks after an MRI on Wednesday confirmed he suffered a sprained ligament in his left foot.
Initial reports suggested the 34-year-old suffered a toe injury and would be sidelined for at least three weeks, but an MRI confirmed a foot sprain. X-rays were also negative, so while Curry has avoided any major damage, his status for the rest of the regular season is still in doubt. In his absence, Jordan Poole and Klay Thompson figure to see increased usage, while the likes of Gary Payton and Chris Chiozza compete for larger roles off the bench.
