Ravens' Pierre Desir: Elevated from practice squad

Desir was elevated from the Ravens' practice squad Friday, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.

After starting eight of nine games with the Jets this season, Desir will now be eligible to suit up for the Ravens. The veteran will provide cornerback depth in Saturday evening's divisional-round matchup against the Bills.
