Werner (elbow) will play Sunday against the Buccaneers, Jenna Laine of ESPN.com reports.
Werner missed the Saints' Week 14 contest against the Jets, but after practicing in full Friday, he has been cleared from the injury report. The rookie should return to his rotational role in the Saints' linebacker unit Sunday in the matchup against the Buccaneers.
