MacDermid (concussion) won't play Monday versus Vegas, Ryan Boulding of NHL.com reports.
MacDermid has supplied four assists, 23 blocks and 76 hits in 36 games with the Avalanche this season. He is still in concussion protocol after getting hurt in a fight with Calgary's Milan Lucic on Saturday. Colorado brought up Ben Meyers on Monday from the minors as MacDermid's replacement.
