Rantanen scored a power-play goal and added two assists in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Canucks.
Filling in as the first-line center with both Nathan MacKinnon (lower body) and J.T. Compher (upper body) out, Rantanen was productive on offense. He was less impressive at the faceoff dot, going 5-for-13 in draws, though that's not all that surprising for the natural winger. Rantanen has posted a pair of three-point efforts in his last three games, and he's up to 11 points (four on the power play), 34 shots on net and a minus-1 rating in 10 contests overall.
