Devils' Kevin Rooney: Lands on IR

The Devils placed Rooney (upper body) on injured reserve Thursday.

Rooney will be eligible to be activated whenever he's deemed fit to play, but at this point there's no telling when that might be. Either way, the 26-year-old forward has only picked up one assist in 13 games this campaign, so there's no reason for fantasy owners to track his status.
