Devils' Paul Cotter: Puts away goal

Cotter scored a goal on three shots in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Senators.

Cotter's goal gave the Devils their first lead of the game at 4:21 of the second period. The 26-year-old forward snapped his five-game slump with the tally. He's seen inconsistent offense as a bottom-six regular this year, earning seven points with 30 shots on net, 79 hits, 11 PIM and a minus-9 rating through 30 outings overall.
