Devils' Ty Smith: Could return soon

Coach Lindy Ruff is hopeful Smith (upper body) will be ready to return this weekend, Mike Morreale of NHL.com reports.

Smith will miss a second straight game Thursday against Pittsburgh, but he could be ready to return Saturday versus the Penguins or Sunday against Philadelphia. The 21-year-old rookie has tallied 21 points in 44 games this season.
