Maple Leafs' Adam Brooks: Dropped down a level

The Maple Leafs reassigned Brooks to AHL Toronto on Saturday, Kristen Shilton of TSN.ca reports.

Trevor Moore (shoulder) is slated to return to the lineup Saturday against Detroit, so the Leafs are no longer in need of Brooks' services up front. The 23-year-old forward didn't crack the lineup during his two-day stay with the big club.
