Maple Leafs' Kyle Clifford: Activated, sent down

Clifford (shoulder) was activated from injured reserve and assigned to AHL Toronto on Wednesday, per CapFriendly.

Clifford was injured in just his second NHL game of the year. He has an assist, six hits and two shots on goal through two contests, but he'll now get a chance to get up to speed at the AHL level after his absence.
