Maple Leafs' Sammy Blais: Put on waivers

Blais was placed on waivers Wednesday.

The Maple Leafs also reassigned Jacob Quillan to AHL Toronto to activate Auston Matthews (lower body) and Nicolas Roy (upper body) from injured reserve ahead of Wednesday's game against Columbus. Blais has a goal, three points and 28 hits in eight appearances with the Maple Leafs in 2025-26. He will head to the minors if he goes unclaimed.
