Rittich will protect the road goal in Thursday's game versus the Blues, Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site reports.
Playing the second half of a back-to-back, Rittich will make his Predators debut. He spend time in the COVID-19 protocols earlier in the season, and the strong play of Juuse Saros has left Rittich with few opportunities to see the ice. The 29-year-old Rittich went 5-8-2 with one shutout in 19 appearances between the Flames and the Maple Leafs last year.
