Cubs pitcher Edwin Jackson has no lingering effects from a hand injury that forced him out of his Thursday outing against San Diego, according to MLB.com, which is reporting that he's fine.
Jackson has struggled recently with 38 earned runs allowed in his last 47 innings covering nine starts. He is 1-6 during that stretch and owns a disturbing 5.68 ERA on the season.
