Joe Mauer, Yadier Molina win Silver Slugger awards

Twins catcher Joe Mauer and Cardinals cather Yadier Molina were named the Silver Slugger award winners at the catcher position Wednesday.

Mauer's fifth career Silver Slugger awards comes after hitting .324/.404/.476 with 11 home runs and 47 RBI in 445 at-bats. Molina's first career Silver Slugger award comes after hitting .319/.359/.477 with 12 home runs and 80 RBI in 505 at-bats.
