Mariners left fielder Michael Morse has brought a power presence to the team's lineup. However, his unfortunate .236 batting average on balls in play has led to a .226/.288/.478 line in 125 plate appearances this season.
Morse has particularly struggled on the road, hitting just .209/.264/.448 in 72 plate appearances while being bogged down with a .225 BABIP. Morse has a .338 BABIP in 1,815 career plate appearances and a .333 BABIP on the road, so it's possible his overall line rises in the coming weeks.
