The Reds plan to activate catcher Ryan Hanigan from the 15-day disabled list July 25, the first day he's eligibile, the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
"He hit inside the cage," trainer Paul Lessard told the Enquirer Friday. "We were doing strengthening stuff. I bumped up his strengthening stuff yesterday. He was fine today, so we started swinging with a little wrist guard on. That was OK. We plan on activating him when he’s eligible."
Hanigan is sidelined due to a sprained wrist.
