Brewers manager Ron Roenicke said Saturday that infielders Rickie Weeks and Scooter Gennett will platoon at second base while Gennett remains with the team, MLB.com reports.

"What we're going to do is just match up," Roencike said. "So, we're going to do that for a while, and then we'll see what happens."

Weeks has hit .161/.254/.304 in 56 at-bats since the All-Star break, while Gennett is 1 for 5 with a walk since rejoining the Brewers Tuesday. All but five of Gennett's 47 at-bats with the Brewers have come against right-handed pitchers, while Weeks has performed better against lefties this season.
