Ryan Braun has plan mapped out

Brewers manager Ron Roenicke said Saturday that disabled outfielder Ryan Braun is expected to be shut down from baseball activities for at least the next week, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. Braun has a thumb contusion/hand injury. 

"If it gets better, he'll start swinging again and then take BP," Roenicke said. "Maybe when he comes off it will go away. If not, he'll have to play and fight through it."
