  • Angels' Jordan Jankowski: Signs with Angels

The Angels signed Jankowski to a minor-league deal Friday, Baseball America reports.

Jankowski appeared in three games for Houston last year, where he struggled to a 12.46 ERA and allowed three home runs in just 4.3 innings of work. He'll be assigned to Triple-A Salt Lake, and the 28-year-old figures to be no more than organizational pitching depth for his new club.

  • Dodgers' Jordan Jankowski: Designated for assignment

Jankowski was designated for assignment by the Dodgers on Saturday.

The club chose to cast Jankowski off the 40-man roster due to the promotion of right-hander Wilmer Font from Triple-A Oklahoma City. Jankowski was recently DFA'd by the Astros in mid-August, and has spent the last couple weeks with Oklahoma City, tossing three scoreless innings for the club. If he passes through waivers unclaimed, he will remain in Oklahoma City.

  • Dodgers' Jordan Jankowski: Claimed by Dodgers

Jankowski was claimed off waivers by the Dodgers on Sunday.

A 28-year-old right-handed reliever, Jankowski was designated for assignment by the Astros earlier this week, but the Dodgers deemed him worthy of a 40-man roster spot. He has always been able to miss bats int he minors but has struggled to throw strikes (12.4 percent walk rate) this year at Triple-A. Look for him to report to Triple-A Oklahoma City and be recalled when rosters expand in September.

  • Astros' Jordan Jankowski: Designated for assignment

Jankowski was designated for assignment by the Astros on Monday, Jake Kaplan of the Houston Chronicle reports.

With Brian McCann (knee) headed to the disabled list, a roster spot was need for Max Stassi, and Jankowski was the corresponding roster casualty. The 28-year-old owns an unsightly 12.46 ERA through 4.1 big-league innings this season, and his 5.13 ERA across 40.1 innings with Triple-A Fresno isn't much more appealing. He'll likely serve as an organizational depth piece wherever he ends up.

  • Astros' Jordan Jankowski: Returns to minors

Jankowski was optioned to Triple-A Fresno on Thursday.

Jankowski was called to the bigs on Monday and tossed a scoreless inning during Tuesday's 3-0 loss to the Rays. His services weren't needed for long and he'll head back to work out of the bullpen at Triple-A Fresno.

  • Astros' Jordan Jankowski: Recalled from Triple-A

Jankowski was recalled from Triple-A Fresno on Tuesday.

Michael Feliz was forced onto the DL with shoulder discomfort, so Jankowski was summoned back to the big club to take his place in the bullpen. The 28-year-old has allowed six runs in 3.1 innings of work for the Astros this season, so he'll likely only see lower-leverage situations during his time up.

  • Astros' Jordan Jankowski: Dropped back down to minors

Jankowski was demoted to Triple-A Fresno on Sunday, the Houston Chronicle reports.

Jankowski was brought up just one day prior for a couple contests in Seattle but didn't see any game action. With the Astros off Monday and Brad Peacock's impending return from the paternity list for Tuesday's series opener against Oakland, Jankowski was no longer needed to provide depth to the team's bullpen.

  • Astros' Jordan Jankowski: Recalled Saturday

Jankowski will be promoted from Triple-A Fresno on Saturday, Jake Kaplan of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Jankowski didn't fare well during his first taste of the majors, allowing six runs over 3.1 innings. He's had mixed results at Fresno, but will provide the Astros with some depth out of the bullpen temporarily. However, his stay with the big club may not last beyond Brad Peacock's paternity leave.

  • Astros' Jordan Jankowski: Earns win despite poor outing

Jankowski (1-0) allowed four runs on five hits and a walk over 2.1 innings, but he was still the pitcher of record when Houston scored 11 eight-inning runs during Monday's win over Minnesota.

The Astros trailed 8-2 entering the eighth frame, so Jankowski was incredibly lucky to pick up his first career win. He's now allowed six runs over just 5.1 innings this season, so it's probably wise to ignore the 28-year-old righty in fantasy at this stage of the game.

  • Astros' Jordan Jankowski: Optioned after first win

Jankowski was sent back to Triple-A Fresno after recording his first major-league win Monday, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Jankowski was optioned after allowing four runs on five hits (two homers) over 2.1 innings. He now owns a 16.20 ERA and 2.40 WHIP across 3.1 big-league frames in two games this season. A corresponding roster move will be announced prior to Tuesday's game.

  • Astros' Jordan Jankowski: Recalled form Triple-A

Jankowski was recalled from Triple-A Fresno on Sunday, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Jankowski had been dispatched to the minors just two days earlier to make room for Dallas Keuchel's (neck) activation from the disabled list, but the Astros will be able to bring the right-hander back on the active roster following Charlie Morton's (lat) surprise move to the DL. It's expected that Jankowski, who made his MLB debut Wednesday against the Tigers, will see largely mop-up duty in relief while he remains with the big club.

  • Astros' Jordan Jankowski: To be optioned under roster crunch

Jankowski will be optioned when Dallas Keuchel is activated from the disabled list , Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports Friday.

Keuchel is expected to make his return Saturday. Jankowski allowed a pair of runs in his only appearance with the big club this season. He owned a sharp 1.42 ERA at Triple-A and could be up with the big club as bullpen reinforcement again later this season.

  • Astros' Jordan Jankowski: Contract selected Monday

Jankowski had his contract selected by the Astros on Monday, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

This will mark Jankowski's first appearance on a major-league roster after the 28-year-old put together an impressive start to the season with Triple-A Fresno. Jankowski spun a 1.42 ERA and 1.16 WHIP with 22 strikeouts across 19 innings (17 games) at Fresno before being summoned by the big club. He'll offer an extra bullpen arm with the ability to pitch multiple innings. The Astros still need to clear a spot on the 40-man roster for Jankowski, so expect a corresponding roster move before he arrives.

  • Astros' Jordan Jankowski: Reassigned to minor league camp

Jankowski was reassigned to minor league camp Thursday.

Jankowski struck out six over three scoreless Grapefruit League innings with the Astros. He'll open 2016 with Triple-A Fresno, where he compiled a 3.18 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 77:34 K:BB ratio over 62.1 innings last season.
