The Pistons announced they have signed their first-round pick, forward Stanley Johnson, to a contract Wednesday, with terms not announced.
Johnson was the eighth overall pick by the Pistons after a solid collegiate career at Arizona, where he averaged 13.8 points and 6.5 rebounds. He was a standout for Detroit's Summer League squad, averaging 16.2 points in Las Vegas.
