Embiid (oblique) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Bulls.
Embiid hasn't taken the court since Feb. 26 after picking up a right oblique strain. However, he's been back on the court recently to get work in and was scheduled to complete a more intensive workout Tuesday, per Austin Krell of OnPattison.com, so it appears he's getting closer to a return. The team should have an update on his status for Wednesday closer to game time.

Philadelphia head coach Nick Nurse said that Embiid (oblique) returned to basketball activities Friday, but it's still unclear when the center will be able to suit up again, Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice.com reports.
Per Aaronson, Nurse said he doesn't "want to anticipate anything" regarding Embiid's return timeline, but the coach didn't rule out the superstar big man suiting up during Philadelphia's upcoming three-game road trip, which starts Tuesday in Denver and ends Saturday in Utah. Embiid has already missed seven consecutive contests, and given Nurse's comments, the seven-time All-Star looks poised to miss at least the next two home games. With Andre Drummond and Adem Bona day-to-day with back issues, Dominick Barlow and Trendon Watford are candidates for increased roles in the frontcourt moving forward.

While he remains out for the immediate future, the 76ers announced that the big man has begun individual strength work, a positive sign in his recovery process. Philadelphia has a busy slate over the next week, and Embiid will miss at least the next four contests based on this timeline. Andre Drummond should continue to start at center in the interim, with Adem Bona serving as the primary backup. Embiid's next realistic chance to suit up will likely come in mid-March, although Philadelphia might opt to take a cautious approach with the injury-prone Embiid.
