  • 76ers' Adem Bona: Muted production continues

Bona finished with four points (1-1 FG, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and one block over 22 minutes during Tuesday's 121-102 win over the Wizards. Bona offered very little yet again, basically summing up his season to this point. While there had been some hope he would step into a sizable role following a knee injury to Andre Drummond, those hopes were dashed when Drummond returned to the lineup almost immediately. Even with Joel Embiid (knee) missing time, Bona should be treated as a blocks specialist and nothing more.

  • 76ers' Adem Bona: Swats four shots in win

Bona finished with 13 points (6-7 FG, 1-1 3Pt), six rebounds and four blocks across 23 minutes during Friday's 115-103 win over the Nets. Bona started the second half of Friday's game with Andre Drummond exiting with a knee injury, and he fell just one block shy of matching his career high. Drummond may be looking at an extended absence, and it's unclear when Joel Embiid (knee) will be able to return, so Bona is worth a speculative add in deep leagues for his shot-blocking upside.

  • 76ers' Adem Bona: Will play Friday

Bona (ankle) will play Friday against the Nets, Noah Levick of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports. Bona is back after a five-game absence, so he'll likely have his minutes monitored Friday night. Bona will battle Dominick Barlow for the reserve minutes behind Andre Drummond, so Bona can't be viewed as anything more than a shot-blocking specialist in deep fantasy leagues.

  • 76ers' Adem Bona: Probable to play Friday

Bona (ankle) is probable for Friday's game against the Nets. Bona has been working his way back from a right ankle sprain. Still, the probable tag suggests he has a good chance of suiting up for Philly for the first time since Nov. 14. Bona will compete for minutes at the center position once he's available. However, his playing time will be determined by the availability of Joel Embiid (knee) and Andre Drummond.

  • 76ers' Adem Bona: Missing two more games

Bona (ankle) will miss two more games before being re-evaluated, Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice.com reports. Bona is rehabbing from a sprained right ankle, which has caused him to miss the 76ers' last three games. He's set to miss at least two more contests, which could mean he returns Friday against the Nets. Andre Drummond, Dominick Barlow and Trendon Watford will continue to see the majority of minutes at the center position due to the absence of Bona and Joel Embiid (knee).

  • 76ers' Adem Bona: Reverting to bench Saturday

Bona is not in the 76ers' starting lineup against the Raptors on Saturday, Noah Levick of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports. Bona will come off the bench Saturday as Joel Embiid (rest) returns to the starting lineup. Bona started in three of the first eight games of the regular season and is averaging 2.5 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.6 blocks over 16.9 minutes per game.

  • 76ers' Adem Bona: Starting Wednesday

Bona will return to the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Cavs. Joel Embiid (rest) is taking the night off on the second leg of a back-to-back set, so Bona will get the start and he'll be joined by Tyrese Maxey, VJ Edgecombe, Kelly Oubre and Jabari Walker. Bona hasn't been great as a starter this season, owning averages of 4.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game in 19.5 minutes a night.

  • 76ers' Adem Bona: Retreating to bench Tuesday

Bona won't start in Tuesday's game against the Bulls, Ky Carlin of USA Today reports. With Joel Embiid (rest) back in action, Bona will rejoin the second unit against Chicago. In four regular-season appearances off the bench thus far, the second-year center has averaged 1.3 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.0 blocks across 14.0 minutes per game.

  • 76ers' Adem Bona: Entering starting five

Bona is in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Nets, Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice.com reports. Bona will make his second start of the season Sunday due to Joel Embiid (knee) resting. Bona previously drew the start Monday against the Magic, finishing with seven points (2-3 FG, 3-5 FT), four rebounds, three blocks and one assist across 25 minutes.

  • 76ers' Adem Bona: Back to bench Tuesday

Bona is coming off the bench in Tuesday's game against the Wizards. As expected, Bona will revert back to the second unit for Joel Embiid's (rest) return. Bona will not have nearly as much streaming appeal Tuesday as he did Monday, when he recorded seven points (2-3 FG, 3-5 FT), four rebounds, one assist and three blocks in 25 minutes during Philadelphia's 136-124 win over the Magic.

  • 76ers' Adem Bona: Blocks three shots in spot start

Bona recorded seven points (2-3 FG, 3-5 FT), four rebounds, one assist and three blocks through 25 minutes as a starter during Monday's 136-124 win over the Magic. Bona had been confined to minutes in the teens through Philly's first two games of the season, but with Joel Embiid (rest) taking Monday off, Bona was able to earn some meaningful run as a starter. Unfortunately, he didn't do much with the opportunity, and he'll return to a negligible reserve role for Tuesday's game in Washington. Andre Drummond wasn't much more impressive in his 23 minutes off the bench, finishing with four points (2-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 0-2 FT), six rebounds, one assist, one steal and two blocks in the loss.

  • 76ers' Adem Bona: Not starting Wednesday

Bona is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Celtics, Kyle Neubeck of AllPHLY.com reports. Bona started alongside Joel Embiid in Philly's preseason finale, but he'll be operating in a reserve role for Wednesday's game. While his upside is capped as a member of the second unit, he could still see enough minutes to offer some low-end value with his rebounding and shot blocking, particularly with Embiid on minutes restrictions for Opening Night.

  • 76ers' Adem Bona: Starting Friday

Updating a previous report, Bona will start in Friday's preseason game against the Timberwolves, Kyle Neubeck of AllPHLY.com reports. The 22-year-old center will get the starting nod alongside Joel Embiid in Philadelphia's preseason finale. Bona is expected to operate as the team's backup center in the regular season, though he'll still likely face competition from Andre Drummond.

  • 76ers' Adem Bona: Won't start Friday

Bona won't start in Friday's preseason game against Minnesota, Kyle Neubeck of AllPHLY.com reports. With Joel Embiid (knee) making his preseason debut, Bona will slide to the bench. The second-year big man is expected to compete for the backup center role behind Embiid this season after averaging 5.8 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.2 blocks across 15.6 minutes per contest in 58 regular-season games (11 starts) in 2024-25.

  • 76ers' Adem Bona: Sitting out Wednesday

Bona (rest) has been ruled out for Wednesday's Summer League game against the Mavericks, Tony Jones of The Athletic reports. Bona will sit out Wednesday's game, the second leg of the 76ers' back-to-back set. He tallied nine points and eight rebounds in 28 minutes during Tuesday's win over the Wizards. The center's next opportunity to take the floor comes Friday against the Nets.

  • 76ers' Adem Bona: Back in action

Bona (rest) is in the starting lineup for Thursday's Summer League game against the Spurs, Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice.com reports. Bona was held out of Tuesday's exhibition for rest purposes, but he'll get a chance to make his Summer League debut Thursday evening. He'll start alongside Judah Mintz, Jalen Hood-Schifino, Justin Edwards and Dominick Barlow.

  • 76ers' Adem Bona: Won't play Tuesday

Bona (rest) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Grizzlies, Tony Jones of The Athletic reports. Bona joins Alex Reese (Achilles) as players for Philadelphia who won't play Tuesday. Bona played 24 minutes during the team's loss to the Thunder on Monday, finishing with four points, three rebounds, one steal and one block.

  • 76ers' Adem Bona: Efficient 17 points in easy win

Bona supplied 17 points (6-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 5-7 FT), nine rebounds and two blocks in 32 minutes during Wednesday's 122-103 win over the Wizards. Bona paced the 76ers in swats Wednesday, falling a lone board shy of a double-double. With Philadelphia still missing their top three centers on the depth chart, the 2024 second-rounder should close out the season with a featured role. Bona has averaged 13.2 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.5 blocks and 1.2 steals in 28.3 minutes across his last 13 games.

  • 76ers' Adem Bona: Double-double in Monday's loss

Bona chipped in 16 points (7-11 FG, 2-4 FT), 11 rebounds, one assist, three blocks and one steal across 35 minutes during Monday's 117-105 loss to the Heat. The 2024 second-round pick produced his third career double-double in his sixth straight start. The lottery-bound Sixers have little reason to give veteran center Andre Drummond (toe) much court time over their final few games, so Bona figures to remain the team's primary option in the middle. During his current run as a starter, the 22-year-old is averaging 14.5 points, 8.8 boards, 3.0 blocks, 1.3 steals and 1.0 assists in 30.5 minutes a contest while shooting 73.1 percent from the floor.

  • 76ers' Adem Bona: Starting Saturday

Bona is in the 76ers' starting lineup against the Heat on Saturday, Derek Bodner of AllPHLY.com reports. Bona will make his third start of the season Saturday and second since the beginning of March. Bona has played in the 76ers' last two games after missing the prior five contests due to an ankle injury and has averaged 6.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.0 blocks over 21.0 minutes in those outings.
