Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffery had the best game of his career against the Saints.

Jeffery was a consistent target of quarterback Jay Cutler, catching 10 balls for 218 yards. That yardage total was good for a Bears franchise record for a wide receiver. The Saints did a great job limiting Brandon Marshall and Martellus Bennett, causing Jeffery to have a monster game.

Jeffery had mainly been used on short routes all year, but was able to show some explosive potential on deep routes. Jeffery caught passes of 31, 42 and 58 yards. He also caught a 3 yard touchdown. Perhaps most importantly, Jeffery showed he can be a legitimate playmaker if teams focus on stopping Marshall.

Jeffery will take on the Giants Week 6.
