The Bears would like to have Josh McCown back next season.

Head coach Marc Trestman, general manager Phil Emery and quarterback Jay Cutler all expressed interest in McCown joining the team next season. All three men agreed that McCown earned himself the right to go somewhere else, potentially to start, and understand if he decides to leave. McCown was cited as a strong leader, who helped the young players adjust and prepare for each game. McCown had 13 touchdowns to one interceptions in eight games played.
