LOOK: E.J. Manuel overcomes two drops with 51-yard TD pass
Manuel had two of his passes dropped, but he came right back and delivered a strike to Deonte Thompson.
E.J. Manuel was the third quarterback to take the field for the Buffalo Bills on Friday night. Matt Cassel started the game and fared pretty well, then Tyrod Taylor came in and showed off both his arm and his wheels, while Manuel... did not get off to a great start, even if it wasn't entirely his fault.
He started the game 1-3, but the two incompletions were both drops. He wasn't getting much help, but he wasn't exactly doing all that much to put his name forward in the Buffalo QB competition, either. The people of the Internet were making jokes like this:

But then Manuel stepped up and delivered a straight dime to Deonte Thompson from 51 yards away. Watch:

BOOM! Right over the outstretched arms of the defender. Very impressive stuff, E.J.
EJ Manuel "threw that ball into a Dixie cup" says @SteveTasker89. "Right in the coin slot."
